How to insert ad code into posts

To insert ad codes including adsense code you will have to use Windows Live Writer.This you can download to your computer.After downloading open the writer.( ZYS7VZWMB3NK)insert ad code3
Now after opening the writer, click on add a plug-in and download Adsense coder from windows live gallery.When you want to insert the code choose insert and select adsense code from the insert menu.

Now enter a name to this add(so that you can know and recall which and where you have pasted it) and save.
After save go to the previous window and click Add. Your add will be displayed at the spot you have chosen. You can also drag and position wherever you want to but keep in mind the dimensions in the add code

The above method works well for third party ads. For adsense , a little more has to done for the
ads to display. After you have published from WLW, go to blogger -> edit posts->choose your
published post. The text will appear in edit post window ready to be edited. Now again publish
the post. Now the adsense ad will be displayed Try and enjoy.

ADD YOUR BLOG TO GOOGLE AND YAHOO

New  blogs that are created in blogger are automatically verified in webmaster tools(You will need to use the same google account for both your blog and webmaster tools) If your blog does not appear on the webmaster dashboard click Add a Site. Your site will be added and verified automatically.However, older blogs are not automatically verified, and should be verified using met tag method
LET US SEE HOW TO ADD A BLOG AND ITS SITEMAP TO BOTH GOOGLE AND YAHOO.
Sign into google.webmaster Tools with your google account.wb
Click Add a Site and type your complete URL and click continue.

In VERIFY OWNERSHIP page your site URL will be shown.Select verification method as ‘by meta tag’
You will be provided a code and instructions to copy and paste the code into your homepage below the <head> section.
Paste the code and click “verify”.


SUBMITTING SITEMAP 
In webmaster Tools go to dashboard.Click Site configuration and then sitemaps .

Here click submit a sitemap and in the resultant box add the following after your site URL/atom.xml?overby=updated.
In the dashboard your sitemap status will be show a green tick mark.
Submitting to Yahoo
Sigh in with your Yahoo id. and go to Yahoo.site explorer

Here add your blog URL and click “Add my site”.
In Yahoo site explorer select my sites and click on Authentication.

Choose to authenticate the site through “by adding a meta tag to my home page”You will be provided a code to be copied and pasted in your home page between <head> and <body> section. After pasting click “Ready to authenticate”.
Again in yahoo site explorer choose feeds.

Here add after your site URL/atom.xml or URL/feeds/posts/default and choose “web site feed” and click “add feed”

HOW TO BURN FEED THROUGH FEEDBURNER

The Method of distributing online content is often called a web feed and the technical format that makes it possible is called RSS,which stands for Really Simple Syndication/Rich Site Summary.RSS  is based on XML.RSS feeds can be viewed as plain text files.Another well known choice is Atom.Feedburner,through SmartFeed services, makes any feed format readable on any subscriber device.
Let see how to enable burning the feeds of your blog.
Go to http://Feedburner.com- Login with your google account id.

Now enter your blog url at the box where it asks you to type blog address and click NEXT

The next screen will ask you to identify your blog address and click NEXT.Note down the feed address for Atom/RSS,it will be useful afterwards.(This address will be useful when submitting to google(through webmaster tools) or Yahoo site explorer)

Give your feed title and note down the feed address and click NEXT.

One more thing to do:Go to Blogger.com. In the dashboard click the settings tab of your blog.
Go to “Archiving” and select ‘yes’ to enable post pages.
Go to “site feed” select ‘Full’ to Allow Blog feeds.Type your feed address in ‘post feed redirect URL’
